TDE Hints At September Release. But Who Will It Be?

A few days ago, (Aug. 6 to be exact) Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith sent out a vague tweet which hinted at a possible new project release date from the left coast camp.

Now if we go back to the beginning of this year, you may remember Top Dawg updating the fans with a loose blueprint of their album release schedule for 2016, with plans of releasing at least six albums by the end of the year. (See below.)

So far, Kendrick Lamar gave us a blessing with his untitled unmastered project, followed by ScHoolboy Q, who just recently dropped Blank Face LP, giving us a total of two projects.

With Sept. 2nd, slowly but surely creeping up, only one question remains: “Which TDE artist will it be?” Jay Rock closed out 2015 with his sophomore 90059, so it’s safe to assume it won’t be him. That leaves SZA, who last released in 2014 with her Z EP, Isaiah Rashad who made his debut that same year with his Cilvia Demo EP, Ab-Soul who dropped his slightly less thrilling album, These Days… back in 2014 as well.

Or, it could be TDE newest signee, Lance Skiiwalker, who recently has been releasing a combination of single and visuals for “Speed,” “Could It Be,” and “All Stops.”

So who do you think it will be? Sound off in the comments below.
