Recently, the GOP Nominee was heavily scrutinized for his stand on birth control.

As president, Santorum says he will warn the nation of ”the dangers of contraception” and the permissive culture it encourages. “Many of Christian faith have said, ‘Well, that’s OK. Contraception is OK,’” he said. “It’s not OK. Some may say he is a loyal Catholic, while others may say he is too extreme.

Either way you look at it, standing strong with his views is pretty brave. Only 8 percent of Americans think birth control is morally wrong.

(LA TIMES) A wealthy backer of GOP presidential contender Rick Santorum left his interviewer scratching her head Thursday when he suggested that in the olden days, birth control was less expensive because women just squeezed an aspirin between their knees to prevent them from having sex.

Sony was recently scrutinized for conveniently raising the prices on Whitney Houston’s albums just hours after her death. By Sony doing this, retail prices were raised everywhere.

In Britain, where the prices were initially raised, the price for “The Ultimate Collection” went from about £5 (about $7.89) to £8 (about $12.63), according to Today.

The New York Times reported on a statement issued by the label admitting to its error and by Sunday night, Sony had changed the prices back: (TODAY)

“[The] Whitney Houston product was mistakenly mis-priced on the U.K. iTunes store on Sunday. When discovered, the mistake was immediately corrected. We apologize for any offense caused.”

Despite many people thinking otherwise, prices in the US never changed. “Houston’s “Greatest Hits” album remains at a steep $15 at both Amazon’s MP3 store and iTunes — a price we presume was the same prior to her death,” via TODAY.

The day after Houston died, Sony Music issued this statement about her:
