AAA is keeping people safe on New Year’s by offering a free “Tipsy Tow” and ride

Some say that New Year’s Eve is the biggest party night of the year. With that, comes the most fatalities from drunk driving and recklessness. AAA (American Automobile Association) is offering a free tow and ride to those who are unable to drive this evening.

(WPTV): In Florida in 2009, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 770 people died from drunk driving crashes. In 2010, that number dropped to 660. It may be lower, but it still leaves hundreds of families grieving. To help, AAA is offering it’s Tow to Go program this holiday weekend. The program gives you a free ride and tow if you can’t drive yourself home.
